These demos are in MP4 format, which should be compatible with most up-to-date browsers. As of 2017, they run in current versions of Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. If you find that the demos do not run in your browser, it may be worth trying a different browser. Alternatively click on the button to switch to QuicktTime format, which requires that your browser is compatible with the QuickTime format.
Each demo contains some explanatory text, with one or two references that usually cite some of the earliest papers published on the effect. You can use these references as a lead-in to find more recent work, using online databases such as Google Scholar which lists later papers that cite them.
Please contact me at the email address given on my home page if you would like to use one of these demos. Personal usage for educational or research purposes is free; a modest charge is made for commercial use.
